The Internal Longing
I have always had an internal pull towards figuring out what the purpose of life is even at a young age. This deep longing for connection and purpose had me reaching towards what I knew best which at the time was sports and fitness. I figured out early on that there is always room to grow in sports and fitness, and with the growth mindset I have, I was constantly striving for more growth, more appreciation, and more validation all in hopes this would evolve into my purpose in life. While it is a gift and conscious effort to have a growth mindset, I was not aware of the difference between healthy striving and perfectionism.

For years I hid the pain of panic attacks, struggles of anxiety, and feelings of depression. I have had coaches and mentors who have provided glimpses of support and to those individuals I thank you for providing that safe space. While sports, fitness, and nutrition can have deep-seated perfectionism and black-and-white thinking, I am here to tell you it does not have to be that way. Over the years I have invested in countless self-help books, podcasts, professional coaching courses, and my own one on one sessions with a mentor, to learn effective tools, energy shifts, and uncovering of self that has provided me with the gift of giving back to others. Through this knowledge I have obtained and the trainings I have gone through, I approach my work with a lens that gives me the ability to see where my clients are stuck, and where the root of their pain is. This is the deeper internal work that makes wellness, nutrition, and fitness possible in sustainable ways that fit your deepest desires in life.
